This design also makes the device thinner compared to previous models.
The water drop hinge works by bending the screen inward in a curved shape. This method minimizes stress on the display materials. Samsung claims the hinge has been tested for over 200,000 folds, ensuring long-term reliability. The design change helps the phone close completely, leaving no gap between the halves. The Galaxy Z Fold6 features a 7.6-inch inner display and a 6.2-inch outer screen. Both panels use Dynamic AMOLED technology for sharp visuals.
